DocuSign

This article helps you set up the DocuSign integration in Emply.

Required:
It is required to have both a developer account and a reguler account at DocuSign to set up this integration in Emply. Please contact DocuSign directly for information about creation of these accounts.

Tip:
Have your DocuSign account open in another tab or window while setting up the DocuSign integration in Emply. Several keys provided in DocuSign is needed to set up the integration. 

1. Go to Settings > Integrations

2. Find DocuSign and click "Activate"

3. Copy the redirect URI by clicking the copy icon (red arrow)
- Yellow arrow indicates where to switch between demo and production environment
- Green arrows indicate where keys from DocuSign should be pasted into

4. Paste the redirect URI into DocuSign account

5. Copy integration key from DocuSign account and paste it into Emply (green arrow)

6. Copy secret key from DocuSign account and paste it into Emply (green arrow)

7. Generate RSA keypairs in DocuSign by clicking button and paste it into Emply (Private key)

8. Login with your DocuSign account and accept the requested permissions

9. Add template(s)

10. Fill out the template and click "Save"

Basic Settings

  • Input title
  • Choose where the template should be available (Candidate, Onboarding, Employee)

Email message

  • Input subject
  • Input email message (Emply keywords can be used)

Signers

  • Choose which signers should be added
  • Choose if the signers should sign one by one (in the above order)
  • Choose if the signers can be changed before sending the document

Access

  • Choose which departments that should have access to this template
  • Choose which users should have access to this template
  • Choose which roles should have access to this template

Now you have added one template and can either save or add more templates

11. The integration is now activated and you can start sending documents for digital signing

Please note that templates can be edited/added subsequently by clicking on "Activated".
